A lot of loves have come and go. Some are forgotten quite instantly. Some stay in the heart a little longer. But, only a few stay forever. Love works in a strange way. It seems to follow the white bear problem or the pink elephant phenomenon. The harder we try to search for one, the harder we will find it. The harder we try to forget it, the longer it sticks in our head. The more we try to hate someone who used to love us, the more we love them.
The funny thing is we can’t get away from love. How many times our hearts have been broken is uncountable, yet, we keep falling in love to new people. Even though we keep saying “I don’t want to fall in love again” or “I’m not looking for love”, we, at the same time, feel the power of love.
Perhaps we shouldn’t avoid it, we shouldn’t try to hide it, or we shouldn’t deny it. Perhaps we should just enjoy the blessing of loving someone as well as the torture of not being loved back.

Don’t despise anyone for not loving us anymore and don’t despise yourself for still loving someone.
Our hearts are meant to be loved and to be broken. But love is meant to be the cure. It’s meant to make us happy.
